Meet Dr. Gautam Zaveri, a distinguished expert in the field of Spine Surgery with an impressive 27 years of postgraduate experience. Holding educational qualifications of MS, DOrth, and DNB, Dr. Zaveri currently serves as the Director of Spine Surgery at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre. His areas of expertise include Spine Tumors, Spine Trauma, and Spine Infections.
He has treated over 1,25,000 patients and conducted over 10000 spinal operations.

Dr Gautam Zaveri has developed a comprehensive non-operative program for the management of various spinal ailments. He is an expert in minimally invasive and endoscopic surgeries of the spine like Microdiscectomies, Microdecompression for sciatica, slipped disc, spinal stenosis, and vertebroplasty for osteoporotic vertebral fractures, amongst others. He has extensive experience in major reconstructive surgeries for the treatment of a variety of spinal ailments including fractures, tumors, tuberculosis, and deformities in adults and children, and is credited with developing and popularizing several different surgical techniques.
Dr Zaveri is the Chief Editor of the ASSI Monographs- a series of 8 books on diverse spinal problems such as Prolapsed lumbar disc, Lumbar spinal stenosis, Early onset scoliosis, Ankylosing spondylitis, Osteoporotic vertebral fractures, Craniovertebral junction pathologies and Complications in spine surgery. He has contributed chapters to spine textbooks and published his scientific work in leading peer-reviewed journals globally. Dr Zaveri is also a much sought out teacher, who travels both, within India and abroad, lecturing and teaching at various conferences, symposia, workshops, and live surgical demonstrations.
